What we do

Working collaboratively with other teams, the risk team ensures that risk, regulatory and compliance constraints are taken into consideration as early as possible in the development of our products and the execution of our operations. We closely monitor the risks associated with financing, transactions, and markets, all while being sure to reply to clients' questions and regulators' requirements in a timely manner.

We give equal weight to our clients' needs and the viability of the bank. We try to not make clients' lives unnecessarily difficult while preserving the integrity of the bank. By joining our team, you will be working with a team of risk, audit, regulatory, underwriting, and compliance specialists who have developed an analytical approach to risk designed to limit the level of biais influencing our decisions.

The challenges

Managing risk

We must monitor and manage the risks facing Memo Bank without unduly impeding the progress of the projects that are submitted to us.

Preventing risk

The earlier risk and compliance are taken into consideration in a project, the better and more fully these concerns can be addressed. By working to familiarize other Memo Bank teams with the issues related to risk, we save time and headaches for everyone later down the line.

Our recruitment process

1. Application

You send us your application.

2. HR interview

We read your application, and if we think you'd be a good fit, one of our recruiters will contact you for a quick phone interview (30 minutes).

3. Practical exercices

Depending on the role you're applying for, we may send you a practical exercise to complete at your leisure and return to us.

4. A series of interviews

You are invited to a series of interviews in our office (or by videoconference) with members of the different teams with whom you would be working (4 hours).

5. Decision

Our panel gets together to deliberate, and we let you know their decision as soon as possible.
